Thrilled to unveil this vibrant new mural in Sweetwater, TN — a heartfelt collaboration with the incredibly creative students of Sweetwater High School and Do More Art, in celebration of Sweetwater’s 150th anniversary.
Eight student teams brought their vision to life through thoughtful presentations, each filled with passion, ideas, and community pride. I was honored to weave together elements from every team’s concept, ensuring that each group had a hand in shaping this piece.
The final mural features 11 unique vignettes inspired by local landmarks, folklore, and the boundless imagination of Sweetwater’s next generation. It’s a visual storybook of the town’s past, present, and future — dreamed up by its own young voices.

“Yesterday, we got to return to dedicate the EIGHTH mural as part of the city's 150th celebration—this brand-new piece created by Nathan Brown and his partner Tiffany Hargis on the side of 3 Generations Art Studio. Not only is this mural special as it commemorates a big anniversary for Sweetwater, but we all got to work with the Sweetwater High School Junior Main Street board and get their input on what town icons went into Nathan's design.
A big thanks to Nathan and Tiff for being open to such a huge collaborative project, to the East Tennessee Foundation's Art Fund for East TN and the City of Sweetwater for sponsoring it, to the Tripps for offering up their wall, and to our forever champions Jessica Morgan, Hayley Isbill, Coach Sarah Davies and the rest of the community for letting us Do More Art in your beautiful, welcoming town.
